So, looking around the web in search of new bridal trends, I stumbled upon brides from all over the world rocking traditional wedding dresses in not-so-traditional colors. First up there is this gorgeous bride, whose vintage inspired wedding included two celebrations, one in Los Angeles and one in New York City. For her NYC wedding, she donned this GORGEOUS black dress.

Another bold color for your wedding dress would be red. This bride pulls it off quite beautifully!

Then of course, there is also the "dip dyed" dress, taking the traditional white dress and adding your own personal touch to it! Doesn't this bride look lovely in a dress that seems to be perfect for her?

Whatever color you chose, the most important thing is to feel comfortable and gorgeous in it. And if you want huge pops of color but just can't commit to veering away from the white dress, just dress your lovely bridesmaids in crazy colors! :)

When it comes to weddings, almost anything goes. Brides are always looking for the hottest new trend in wedding couture,
cakes, and style. If everyone is into the latest and newest fads, then all this season's weddings will look the same! Why not surprise your friends with a refreshing, classic, vintage wedding? Adding a little nostalgic touch will give your guests a taste of a simpler time.
The Traveling Photo Booth is an excellent way to take people back to their younger years. The Traveling Photo Booth automatically prints two copies, so your guests can keep a memory from your wedding, and you can keep a copy for your guest book!
Your
transportation to and from your reception can also add that old time feel. Skip the stretch Hummer and travel in a 1937 Dodge or 1956 Bentley! These two-passenger beauties are stylish and will give you and your newlywed time to yourselves between events!
Don't forget about the finishing touches! Everything from
inviations to
hair and makeup can put your wedding on a different level. So why go with the fads when you can add a fabulous vintage flair?
Here are some vintage inspired photos:

You’re getting married. We’re in the middle of a recession. What’s a couple to do?
1. Begin to plan as far in advance as you can stand. A lot of people are taking 2 years to plan/save for their wedding. Taking a huge chunk of money out of your savings will hurt more in the long run than saving up for the wonderful things you’d like to have on your day. It’s an important day in your life; make it completely worth it. Get out an old jar and start dropping that extra change in it every day. Open a wedding savings account and “drop” $20 a week into it. You’ll be amazed how quickly that will add up!
2. Handwritten invites are sometimes the cutest and most unique. But, bear in mind that sometimes you can find adorable invites if you're willing to go a little less over the top. Our website has some gorgeous invitations at really attractive prices, and saving your sanity by not doing them yourself is definitely worth the money!
3. Spend the money where it’s really important. I have a friend getting married, and while their wedding and ceremony are going to be gorgeous regardless, they have really focused a lot of their budget on food, drink and music for their guests. Giving their nearest and dearest a fun party is priority number one for them, and those are definitely the ingredients for success. They have booked a great band and planned an amazing menu. They cut back on the cost of their flowers and invites in order to create a great night for themselves and their guests.
4. Lasting memories of your wedding are usually way up there importance to many couples. A great photographer is generally not the place to skimp on budget. Many couples are also combining photos and favors. The Traveling Photo Booth offered here at Bellagala is a fun way to remember your day, letting the guests take home a fun reminder of your beautiful day!
5. The cake is an integral part of your wedding, so why not make it an integral part of your décor? More and more brides are using the cake (and mini cakes) as centerpieces on their tables at the reception. Nothing like a functional, delicious centerpiece! Orchids are gorgeous, but not quite as tasty…
This will be an on-going blog topic, and Bellagala is here to help! Happy Planning!
