Wedding season is sneaking up on us and September weddings are a mere six months away… Emily and Scott celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Gale Mansion in St. Paul on September 10, 2009. Happy ½ year anniversary to Emily and Scott! Bellagala photographer, Angeli, was there to document every moment. Take a peek!



The Gale Mansion is located close to downtown Minneapolis and was built in 1912 in the style of Italian Renaissance Revival (ooh, ahh!)



The mansion is currently undergoing a major renovation, including the addition of an elevator, more restrooms, a brand new bar, a brand new kitchen and the most anticipated feature: a swanky NEW ballroom that seats up to 200 people! We’ve seen the Gale Mansion host weddings of 240 people, but guests have always been scattered throughout various rooms. We are thrilled for the mansion to be able to host 200 people in their brand new Ballroom, as the mansion expects renovations to be complete this coming May. While sorting through photos this afternoon I came across these beautiful images. (A lovely wedding always helps me snap out of a Mon’daze!’) Kirsten and Kyle celebrated their special day at the Calhoun Beach Club on September 25, 2009. One of our fabulous Bellagala photographers, Molly, captured the elegance of the day.





We love the neutral color scheme with the soft pink and green accent colors. The wedding was classy and fresh and the soft palette allowed for the beauty of the bride to be center stage!

Bellagala is partnering with Kids Against Hunger to send meals to families in Haiti. Artists have volunteered to donate to Kids Against Hunger.

The Jan. 12 earthquake shook Haiti and destroyed much of Port Au Prince, and many families have yet to find consistent shelter and food. Kids Against Hunger is a national nonprofit with satellite locations in Minneapolis and New Hope, MN. The organization packs and sends meals to developing countries like Haiti. To date, the Minneapolis location as shipped over 800,000 meals to the people of Haiti.

The artists’ donations will go towards food and shipping costs for meals sent to Haiti in the next few months. The next shipment is unique because the container the food is shipped in will remain in Haiti to provide shelter for two families.
