It is with mixed feeling we bid a grand farewell to our old friend, the Minneapolis wedding photographer Bellagala Blog. For years we've written using this somewhat less-than visually stunning format, and yet you've faithfully read and rated our posts. We've shared our memories and wisdom with you. You've laughed, you've cried...

Okay, probably not. And to be honest, we're not terribly sad to put this blog to rest. But we are very excited to point you in the direction of our new and improved blogs! Yes, blogS (plural!). Each service category now has its own individual blog with a writer, contributors, pictures, videos, etc. And the format is very different; dare we say, BETTER!

On Saturday, April 30, Minneapolis wedding photographers will be offering free photo sessions for troops and their families deploying in May. Because this is the largest deployment of the Minnesota National Guard in years, we wanted to host an event to allow for any and all of the families impacted by this deployment to come and have their photo taken together prior to the year separation they will face.

The event will take place around downtown St. Paul from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. A number of the St. Paul hotels and event sites have given permission for the photographers and clients to use their space as a backdrop during the session. Clients will be able to pick the event sites they'd like to have their photo taken at based on availability of the site. Weather permitting, photos can also be taken in Rice Park and along the riverfront.

Interested troops and families should e-mail Angeli.Hagen@Bellagala.com to sign up for a time slot and be assigned a Minneapolis wedding photographer. After the session, the family will receive a disc of edited images and the rights to reprint the images.

This hotel is just beautiful, and perfect for Minneapolis Wedding Photography. Their style is modern, artistic, and very elegant (which you’ll see from the photos). They have so many spots for beautiful photographs, and they’re located in the heart of Minneapolis, surrounded by all kinds of fun places for your Minneapolis Wedding Photographer to shoot!

The two weddings featured here are Ray and Sue Kimal (11.06.2010) and Lateefah and Ryan Fossey (10.2.10). Both weddings were absolutely stunning so we thought a combo of the two would give you a great idea of what the Graves 601 Hotel has to offer. :)
